Description
JamSync is a collaborative music app designed to bring musicians together. The platform allows users to create groups, schedule jam sessions, build shared Spotify playlists, and run polls to organize and align every musical gathering. A full UI/UX and development exercise aimed at exploring collaborative workflows and real-time features.
The Why
Jam sessions often lack structure: unclear schedules, scattered conversations, no shared playlist, and difficulty coordinating multiple members. The goal of JamSync was to imagine a simple, intuitive tool that centralizes everything musicians need to prepare a session from planning to music selection. This project was an opportunity to explore how digital features can solve real coordination problems while preserving the creative, spontaneous spirit of music.

The How
I started by identifying the core needs of bands: scheduling, music curation, communication and decision-making. This led to a clear feature set: group creation, session planning, collaborative Spotify playlists, and lightweight polls for fast decisions. The interface was designed around clarity and flow, using a clean visual language that keeps the focus on collaboration. Each feature was prototyped to ensure intuitive navigation: — straightforward onboarding — a group dashboard to centralize information — simple session planning with availability indicators — playlist editing synchronized with Spotify — quick polls to align the group On the technical side (if applicable), the app structure was built to support modular features and potential real-time updates. JamSync showcases an end-to-end exploration of how design and development can streamline collective creativity and make musical collaboration effortless.
