Description

Motiv is a wellness collective bringing together therapists, sports coaches, and nutrition specialists. The goal of this project was to develop a full visual identity — including a modern logo and cohesive brand system — that reflects movement, natural balance, and human guidance. The identity avoids traditional medical clichés, offering instead a fresh, organic, and emotionally grounded aesthetic.

The Why

The wellness and therapy industry often relies on cold, clinical visuals that fail to represent the human side of personal growth. Motiv wanted a brand that captures their real essence: warm guidance, authentic support, and the idea that progress is a fluid, continuous journey. The identity needed to communicate: — movement, as a metaphor for evolution — nature, echoing harmony and inner balance — connection, symbolizing support and group strength — modernity, to break away from outdated health imagery This project was about designing an identity that feels alive, grounded, and empowering — just like the people behind Motiv.

The How

02

I started by building a moodboard focused on natural textures, warm skin tones, organic curves, and athletic movement. This guided the aesthetic direction toward an identity that feels both grounded and energetic. Logo The primary logo uses a continuous, flowing line that evokes motion and personal progression. Its organic curve suggests a path, while the circular “O” symbol subtly reinforces ideas of unity, balance, and guidance. The submarks reinterpret this shape into a more compact symbol, ideal for digital use or signage, maintaining the same sense of fluidity and support. Colors The palette blends earthy tones (Maple, Dark Green) with fresh, optimistic accents (Honeysuckle, Linen). This combination reflects nature, vitality, approachability, and growth. Typography The pairing of National Park (title) and Karla (text) creates a modern yet human contrast: — bold, grounded character for headlines — clean, accessible readability for body text Applications Mockups were designed to demonstrate how the identity lives in real contexts: — signage and interior branding — packaging and accessories — minimalist print materials The result is a warm, contemporary identity that embodies Motiv’s mission: guiding individuals toward healthier, more balanced lives through movement, connection, and natural energy.
